PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME AGAIN

We know you’re busy and we want to make the show as accessible to you as possible, so we’ve moved up the start time of the program: it’s now airs from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Central Time. However, today’s show will end at 6:30 pm CDT so KLUP can bring you high school football.

However, you choose to spend the weekend, one great way to bone up on the interesting things going on the world is to join me and D.R. McCale on Kicking the Anthill, presented by heard from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday evenings on AM 930, KLUP, or on the web at http://www.KLUP.com. If you prefer participatory radio, we’d love to hear from you. You can call us at 210-308-8867 (toll free, 866-308-8867) or you can email us at Drexel@KickingTheAnthill.com.
Ok, if this isn’t the strangest lineup you’ve heard on talk radio I want to know about it.  What a great and, as usual, eclectic show we’ve got this weekend.

First up: Dan Phillips. Who, you ask?  I saw Dan Phillips on a Planet Green program called G-Word talking about how he teaches people to build their own houses from material they find at the dump.  Yes, the dump.  But check out the link. This isn’t disgusting, it’s innovative and inexpensive. We’ll ask him how he got started and what the future might hold for the techniques he’s teaching.

Then we’ll talk to Patrick Sammon the president of the Log Cabin Republicans.  The Log Cabin Republicans mission is to work within the Republican Party to advocate equal rights for all Americans, including gays and lesbians. So you don’t know how you feel about Gay and Lesbian rights? Fair enough, these are tough issues to think through. But any support for the Republicans at this point is good support. I’m looking forward to talking to him about his life as a gay republican advocate.

And then, to top it all of, on the other end of the republican  spectrum, we’ll chat with Ted Nugent (yup, THAT Ted Nugent) who has recently written a new book entitled TED, WHITE AND BLUE: THE NUGENT MANIFESTO.  This is a man passionate about America, our Constitution and an authentically conservative agenda.

So, wow! Top that on your weekday programs—I dare you. And if you miss any or all of the show, go to KickingTheAnthill.com on Monday and you can listen to whatever you missed by clicking on “archives.”
