PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME AGAIN

We know you’re busy and we want to make the show as accessible to you as possible, so we’ve moved up the start time of the program: it’s now airs from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Central Time. However, today’s show will end at 6:30 pm CDT so KLUP can bring you high school football.

However, you choose to spend the weekend, one great way to bone up on the interesting things going on the world is to join me and D.R. McCale on Kicking the Anthill, presented by heard from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday evenings on AM 930, KLUP, or on the web at http://www.KLUP.com. If you prefer participatory radio, we’d love to hear from you. You can call us at 210-308-8867 (toll free, 866-308-8867) or you can email us at Drexel@KickingTheAnthill.com.

Of course, DR and I will talk about this week’s presidential debate, but we’ll also talk about Healthcare, energy the Obama/Ayers connection, the economy–including McCain’s ridiculous mortgage write down plan and we’ll have all the usual fun, generally at the expense of our perceived genius.

Joining us in the day’s discussion will be Jonhathan Cohn a senior editor at The New Republic to talk about his book SICK–THE UNTOLD STORY OF AMERICA’S HEALTHCARE CRISIS.

For over a year I have been trying to find time to have inventor Joseph Newman join us to talk about his revolutionary ENERGY MACHINE. If he’s not a charlatan he could change the world with this invention.

And we’ll wrap up today’s show by talking to comedian Alonzo Bodden who won Last Comic Standing three years ago, but who tonight will be hosting Fox Reality Channel’s REALLY AWARDS for the Reality TV business.
