October 3, 2008

There’s bad news everywhere, but I have good news–it’s time for Kicking the Anthill with Drexel Kleber and DR McCale again and it’s never hard for us to fill 3 hours and this week is no exception.

We’ll start with the bad news, though. Is it just me or does it seem like the economic discontent has gotten worse since election day? That’s not an accusation, just an honest question based on the facts.

Then we’ll talk about Wall Street actually paying out billions of dollars in bonuses even while they’re on government life support.

We’ll ask the question, “Does the free market corrode morality?”

Barack Obama’s energy plan is mostly good. We’ll highlight some specifics and then we’ll talk to Ed Furia, the CEO and founder of AFS Trinity a company making plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Here’s one company posed to benefit a great deal from Obama’s election.

I have the perfect plan to help American citizens and save the auto industry. I’ll share it in the third hour.

And, just for fun, we’ll talk about the greatest comic strip ever.

However, you choose to spend the weekend, one great way to bone up on the interesting things going on the world is to join me and D.R. McCale on Kicking the Anthill, presented by heard from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday evenings on AM 930, KLUP, or on the web at http://www.KLUP.com. If you prefer participatory radio, we’d love to hear from you. You can call us at 210-308-8867 (toll free, 866-308-8867) or you can email us at Drexel@KickingTheAnthill.com.
