However, you choose to spend the weekend, one great way to bone up on the interesting things going on the world is to join me and D.R. McCale on Kicking the Anthill, presented by heard from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday evenings on AM 930, KLUP, or on the web at http://www.KLUP.com. If you prefer participatory radio, we’d love to hear from you. You can call us at 210-308-8867 (toll free, 866-308-8867) or you can email us at Drexel@KickingTheAnthill.com.

Today On Kicking the Anthill, three great guests. In the first hour we’ll talk to Dan Nolan. Dan is a retired Army Colonel and was the Chief of Power Surety Task Force as part of the Army’s Rapid Equipping Force.  The goal is to protect our soldiers through the use of alternative energy sources on the battlefield. Dan is now the CEO and owner of Sabot 6, continuing the work in the private sector.

In the second hour we’ll talk to left-leaning talk show host Bill Press, who is also the author of TRAINWRECK: THE END OF THE CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION (AND NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON). This was a fascinating book but not for why you might think.  We’ll explore conservatism, but more importantly for this discussion, Republicanism.

To bring the show to a close, in the third hour Gregg Stebben will join us once again. He’s been on before as the Kicking the Anthill tech-spert. This week, though, we’ll talk about his book WHITE HOUSE CONFIDENTIAL, which is full of great stories from presidential history.
