Well, it’s Easter weekend. Is it just me or was it just Christmas? Anyway, so DR and I will focus on religion today. Our first guest will by Pastor and author John MacArthur. John has written over 150 books and is the Pastor of Grace Community Church and President of the Master’s College and Seminary. His newest book, available in April, is A TALE OF TWO SONS: THE INSIDE STORY OF A FATHER, HIS SONS AND A SHOCKING MURDER. It is the detailed story of the parable of the Prodigal Son and it is the perfect story for Easter.
We’ll also talk to Donald Miller the author of BLUE LIKE JAZZ: NON-RELIGIOUS THOUGHTS ON CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY. If your walk with God or your dealings with Christians has ever been, well, less than you expected, you won’t want to miss this interview.
Our third guest will a slight departure from religion. Opening day of Major League Baseball is coming up so we’ll talk to Kadir Nelson. Kadir is an artist and author. I became aware of his artwork when I saw last week’s Sports Illustrated, which did an article on his latest work. His new book WE ARE THIS SHIP: THE STORY OF NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL, showcases his amazing work.
We’ll also address Barack Obama’s speech on race from earlier this week and other topics from around the world.
I hope you can join us.
