CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE SECOND HOUR: Guests Gregory Rodriguez and Wes Jackson
Another day exploring authentically conservative values. My first guest will be Gregory Rodriguez, the author of MONGRELS, BASTARDS, ORPHANS AND VAGABONDS. Mr. Rodriguez is director of the California Fellows Program and an Irvine Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation, a non-partisan public policy institute. His book is a both a history of Mexican immigration beginning with Spanish migration to the new world in the 1500s and a look at immigration policy over the last half century.
You may have heard me refer to the “dirt that made America great.” What I’m referring to is our nation’s ability to feed itself. No matter what happens in the world outside of the United States, our ability to feed ourselves is paratmount to our nation’s identity and national secuirty. So, we will also talk to Wes Jackson, the founder and president of THE LAND INSTITUTE. The Land Institute exists to address the problems in agriculture created by a rapidly growing world population and a changing global climate.
D.R. and I will also begin to recap the Democratic Forum which took place last Tuesday night at, yes, Drexel University in Philadelphia. And we’ll talk about the DREAM Act dealing with immigration reform for the children of illegal immigrants.

The age-old pesky U.S.-Mexico border problem has taxed the resources of both countries, led to long lists of injustices, and appears to be heading only for worse troubles in the future. Guess what? The border problem can never be solved. Why? Because the border IS the problem! It’s time for a paradigm change.
Never fear, a satisfying, comprehensive solution is within reach: the Megamerge Dissolution Solution. Simply dissolve the border along with the failed Mexican government, and megamerge the two countries under U.S. law, with mass free 2-way migration eventually equalizing the development and opportunities permanently, with justice and without racism, and without threatening U.S. sovereignty or basic principles.
