First, a scheduling change. Kicking the Anthill will be preempted by the Judson/Reagan football game. Kicking the Anthill will be heard in its entirety immediately following the game.

DR and I, as usual, have a full plate. We’ll talk a bit about whether or not the BCS got it right this year and put the two best teams in the championship game. (Surprise! We think not. click here to see how we think it should have worked out.)

Then we’re going to focus on innovation. With the imminent rise of China as a bigger economy, what can the US do to remain the most important economy in the world? The answer is to be a nation of innovators. And so we’ll talk to John Kao, the author of INNOVATION NATION to see where we are and where we’re headed as a country when it comes to innovation.

Since its inception, NASA has always been a catalyst for innovation and the push to put humans on Mars may be another kick in the pants for global innovation. But is it worth the one trillion dollars or more it will cost us. We’ll be joined by astronaut Pam Melroy who most recently was the commander of STS-120, the shuttle mission that landed back on earth two weeks ago.

And we’ll also provide a couple of holiday movie reviews.

  1. Troy Says:

The Football Bracket should be conference champs playing conference champs. If you can’t win your conference the team shouldn’t be in the hunt. I know that will upset DR since that basically means that A&M will never have a shot at teh National title.
